Course Rules & Policies
To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and fair experience for all guests, we kindly ask that all players and visitors observe the following course rules and policies.
Course Hours
- The golf course is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
- Night golf is not permitted.
- Guests remaining on the course after closing hours will be asked to leave the property.
Tee Times & Check-In
- All players must check in and pay applicable fees at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled tee time.
- Players who do not check in on time may forfeit their reserved tee time.
- There is no grace period for missed tee times, including prepaid reservations and GolfNow bookings.
- If you anticipate arriving late, please contact the Golf Shop as soon as possible.
- Green fees are non-refundable once play has begun.
Player Requirements & Pace of Play
- Each player must have their own golf bag and set of clubs. Sharing clubs is not permitted.
- Players are expected to maintain an appropriate pace of play by keeping up with the group ahead.
- Playing multiple golf balls on the course is prohibited at all times, including during slow play.
- On-course instruction is allowed only with Sunken Gardens Golf Course teaching professional staff.
Spectator Policy
- Spectators are permitted only with prior approval from the Golf Shop.
- A maximum of one spectator per group is allowed.
- Spectators may not participate in play, including hitting shots or putting.
- Baby strollers and similar equipment are not permitted on the course due to safety and liability considerations.
- Failure to comply with these policies may result in the player(s) and spectator being asked to leave the property.
Transportation & Equipment
- Personal motorized transportation devices, strollers, and similar equipment are not permitted on the golf course for safety and liability reasons.
Food & Beverage Policy
- Outside alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.
- Outside beverages, coolers, cooler bags, and similar containers are not permitted on the golf course.
- All food and beverages consumed on the property should be purchased through Old Greenwood BBQ Restaurant.
Youth on Course Program
Eligible Tee Times
- Weekdays: Beginning at 3:00 p.m.
- Weekends: Beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Eligibility
- Participants must be 17 years of age or younger.
- Proof of age may be required.
- The course is recommended for players ages 5 and older.
Animals
- Only service animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), are permitted on the property.
- Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted.
Assumption of Risk
- Golf is an outdoor sport with inherent risks. By using the facilities, guests acknowledge and accept these risks.
- Guests are responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or loss resulting from their actions while on the property.
